I use this as my son's lunch container, and only after using twice, I saw a black stain in the bottom. Looks like the steel layer has fallen a little bit. He was using plastic spoon and we never clean it by any rough brush. I'm not satisfied with the quality.

The quality is very good, and it keeps the food warm until lunch time for my kids. However, I find it hard to put the food in , and it is not recommended for big kids. I use it only for my 5 year old boy. I find that the quantity will be very small for my 9 year boy.

I cannot express how much I like this C3P0 thermos. I got it for my son and am using it for myself (got him another one). It is not only unique and nice to look at, but it does keep the food warm and the lid does not get "too tight" as some tend to do. Also it does not spill. I would buy this again.

I use mine for coffee and has a faint plastic smell. If it doesn't go away after a few more uses I will most likely throw mine out. If you already ordered yours make sure to wash it several times before use.
