Great spatula, good size and nice and sturdy compared to others I've used. Was stained red after making a tomato-based pasta sauce but after a trip to the dishwasher its back to pearly white.

I bake. A lot. This is the first tool I pull out when prepping. I am an OXO lover, but this shape with this handle is my first choice. It really scrapes down the bowl well. One scrape and it is clean. A dream on the bottom of your mixer bowl. It is the perfect weight in your hand. And of course it cleans well.

Ich habe lange gebraucht, den richtigen Teigschaber zu finden. Er sollte nicht zu weich sein, weil ich damit festen Brotteig aus der Rührschüssel nehmen muss.Dieser Teigschaber ist genau richtig: schön fest und nur an den Rändern ein wenig biegsam, so dass er den ganzen Teig mitnehmen kann.

A fairly typical baker's spatula often used to wipe around a bowl to remove as much of its ingredients as possible and shaped to approximately match the rounded bottoms of some bowls and the squared ones of others. "OXO Good Grips Silicone Medium Spatula - White" is partly of silicone which will make it quite heat-resistant should it be used while cooking and, as part of the 'OXO Good Grips' range, provides an excellent grip with its soft-touch handle. The blade is neither too stiff nor too soft and works well. The overall length is sufficient to keep your fingers out of a sticky mixture and away from the heat if used when cooking.A long-term fan of the brand, the original introduction came courtesy of an Occupational Therapist who provided a product for use by an older relative with arthritis to enable her to continue to bake and cook, both of which she loved doing. Additional OXO products were later purchased to further assist that individual and later for personal use when incapacity took hold on the original user. Several items are now owned and regularly used simply because of their inherent quality, excellent design and easy usability. They may be slightly more expensive than some competing products, but the price difference isn't great and more than compensated by greater functionality.This is to replace another which is all nylon, very stiff and more easily heat damaged. This is by far the superior product on several levels.

I was on the lookout for a sturdy spatula as the others that I've got are no good. This one is good as what one might expect of OXO products the only thing that I don't like about it is the handle is a bit thicker than what I would like it to be. I suffer from carpal tunnel and it always get trigged whenever I use this. Oh well, I should have tried to see how I would get on with it in real life.
