Awesome, great value! Use without the strainer cup for high quality teas or high-expanding teas, but then strain through the strainer at the end. I use the normal amount of tea listed on the label, then cold brew in fridge overnight. Does not cause any bitterness in white teas!

This works surprisingly well and has a great build quality. I have been using it for over a year now to make cold brew tea, coffee and often just use it as a nice water pitcher. Instructions were not in English but the pictures are clear and if you can't figure out how to use it, maybe you shouldn't be on the internet...

I love this teapot. It is large enough to make three cups of tea...which is great for our large family. The glass is quite thin but we have been using it for months and it’s still in one piece. That’s great considering our family. Brews a lovely tisane!!

LOL.Otherwise I love this product. I own the picture to make cold brew coffee as well. It’s well made & very sturdy. I was pleased when I found that Hario makes one for tea also. I bought a different brand before I found that Hario makes this and I was unhappy with it. So I ended up buying this one. Let’s just say...my others pitcher is collecting dust on my shelf now. The mesh to hold the tea leaves is very durable. We had our coffee one for years without any signs of deterioration. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a tea pitcher. I believe you would use this for cold bee coffee also, the only difference is the mesh for coffee one has a solid bottom on the basket versus the tea one is also mesh.

Easy to use - nice size. I use it weekly to make my iced tea. Update: i have owned this a year now and still love to use it. However i just noticed that some rust is starting to form on the inner metal collar that attaches the handle. It is not removeable so when i wash it, i am unable to dry that area, which is causing the rust.

Great for making iced tea or coffee. Construction is solid and the removable bottom piece of the filter makes cleaning easy. A bottle brush will come in handy for cleaning of the carafe. One note: The lid is not air-tight, which means that you will need to be careful where you place this in your referidgerator. Also, there's a chance that other odors can go into your drinks.

It's a perfect little present for someone who loves cold brew, or a nice little treat for yourself if you enjoy cold brew :) I spent a week on Amazon looking for something like this that's made out of glass and so glad I found it! I have been using it daily for the past 3 weeks and it never failed me. So far I've only used it to make tea with tea bags from Tazo (passion) and plum green tea that I got from an Asian market. I usually put in 3 bags and let it sit in the fridge overnight and the next morning, voila, perfect iced tea! Cleaning is a breeze and the handle is comfortable to hold on while pouring. Would buy again :)

I like it for cold brewing roasted barley tea in the summer. I drink that stuff like its water, and its better than drinking water. But this teapot definitely makes it easier to do that and looks good while doing it. This could be a bit small if there's more than 1-2 people in the household since cold brewing takes 10-12 hours. The filter with removable bottom make it super easy to clean and remove tea leaves or coffee grinds.

Excellent for cold tea and cold coffee brewing. Easy to use, a no brainer. Some residue if you use with loose ground coffee but you can double filter it. Awesome tea brewing. I have a sensitive stomach and the fact that I can at last enjoy a rich cup of coffee, makes me very happy.

I am using this for cold-brew coffee, and it's working great! The filter mesh seems a little flimsy, but with some care in cleaning it, it should hold up OK. I love the glass pot, and the handle/lid plastic materials appear to be high quality and should last a good long time.

I have been using this for the past week now and I love it. I brew my coffee for about 12 hours and it tastes great. The construction of this item is nice and works well. The one con about this cold brew pot is that is is not enclosed so if it were to tip over, the contents of it would spill out. The directions were in Japanese but that is ok, I just googled cold brew recipe and tweaked it to my liking. It was shipped fast and received it when expected. I would recommend this to everyone who is looking to make their own cold brew coffee.
