Unlike many kitchen shears that have all sorts of unnecessary extras (like a screwdriver?!?), the Wusthof shears are made to do kitchen tasks and to do them well. Also, the sharpness in incredible.

The quality is as nice as all of the other Wusthof products I have purchased. Fits well in my Wusthof knife block. Comes apart for easy cleaning. They're sturdy and everything you could ask for in a oair of kitchen shears.

I used our old pair for many years. I ended up incorrectly sharpening them.When they no longer worked well I had to replace them. Perfect match,excellent quality, surprisingly low price. Happy to have them.

i ordered the 8 in I think I should have gotten a bigger size.Its a good price but disappointed it is not as easy as the brandsays it is. One grade up from just regular sheers maybe 2 sincethey cut meat. BUT the holes are bigger than the blades so itsarkward and they are not that sharp.

I have used Wusthof scissors for years. I used them to cut medium size steaks into small size steaks, for my husband and myself. It's a nice feature that they can be taken apart for cleaning and that they last last quite a while.

They are fine shears and work as well as the original. The reason I have given 4 vs. 5 stars, was the change in height (increased) of the black knob at the pivot point. This added height prevents the shears from seating well in our older Wustof wood block.

I'm happy with my purchase of these shears. Good price. Good product. They do come apart for washing which I really like. They are sturdy. I suggest washing and drying right away. I did get a small spot of 'rust' because I left them out with other silverware to air dry. I would buy these again.

This item replaced a similar looking shears that flexed when cutting tough material. This one is a substantial tool with metal extending the entire length, not terminating somewhere under the rubber covering. The other one I saw from Henkels was the same looking tool with a screwdriver and bottle opener on the handle. That might be more useful, though this one really does all it's asked.

They last years if you do not try to cut wire with them LOL. If, like me, you do- then you will have to buy a separate pair for the kitchen and put the old ones in the garden shed!
