This cap is totally great, I do wish it were round so I could chug my water non-stop! I really love my Lifefactory glass bottle and wanted to use it exclusively, so I got the flip top so I wouldn't have to unscrew the whole thing to take a drink, which is time saved for preventing other "disasters" when you've got wreck-it-Ralph kids...and I love to put essential oils in my water so this would be my ultimate water bottle if the awesome flip cap were round. The soft rubbery flip cover closes nice and snug against the plastic mouth piece and hasn't yet leaked on me - I've laid it on it's side a few times. I do wish the kids' glass bottles didn't have a different size neck so I could use this cap instead of the sippy cap and send my kids to school with essential oils in their water too.I'll explain why I wish the mouth piece were round: I have a 32oz plastic water bottle with a round mouth piece and I usually chug the whole thing in one breath (another time-saving method) which I am capable of doing because of the round mouth piece - I put my bottom lip under the cap and my top lip in the hole so I can basically suck the water out or pour the water quickly into my mouth without excess air getting into my mouth so I'm not sucking down air bubbles.This Lifefactory OVAL cap does not allow me to get my top lip in there, nor pour the water quickly into my mouth without air bubbles, thus I am forced (kind of a strong word for a non-life-or-death situation...) to pour only what my mouth can hold at one time, put the water bottle down to swallow without air bubbles, and repeat and repeat and repeat until I have consumed all my water.So I reluctantly switch between bottles, using the plastic water bottle when it's a day I know I'll be needing to be chugging water :(Other than my own preferences, this flip cap is wonderful and does a great job.

I was hoping that this top would make it easier to drink from this bottle while driving, etc. While it is an improvement over unscrewing a lid and drinking from a wide mouth jar, it is still not as easy as a straw or spout. For the price, I wish I would have tried something else.

I liked this top more than the straw one, was easier to finish off the water and pretty convenient. I would wash before use just in case. Would still have it if my bottle didn't break :(

Good cap my first one broke because the actual water spout cap developed a hole from where you press down on it. The last cap tended to stay on better though hence the one star deduction. When I drop the water bottle the water spout cap on the new cap tends to fall off a bit easier. Otherwise I am satisfied.

Love the glass bottle with the silicone sleeve BUT the FLIP CAP is terrible! It will not stay sealed and pops open in my bag or when my bottle tips over in the gym! I can not believe that Lifefactory would even sell these, especially for the price tag! Disappointing.

I gave this three stars due to the drinking hole. The shape is oval, which isn't bad but no air gets into the bottle when your drinking. This flaw causes an awkward flow of the fluid. I still use it but find I turn it sideways so only half of the hole is covered.
