I am totally thrilled to find this steamer. It is just what I was looking for but had never seen. No only can you steam asparagus, I can cook three ears of corn, boil eggs, cook potatoes, and on and on. Because it is tall it never boils over when cooking macroni. Eggs are totally covered with water when making hard boiled eggs. I have no need for all those other pots. I love this pot.
