Love it! I was tired of watching my wheatgrass fly through my Breville juicer, with little juice produced. After reading the reviews on the Hurricane, I decided to give it a try. This thing is amazing! It's heavy, with solid construction. I am sure it will last forever. The best part is that it squeezes every bit of juice out of those blades of grass. Sometimes, if I don't pack the chute tight enough, the blade doesn't really crush the grass so well. My solution; rotate the handle in the opposite direction to push grass back toward loading chute, then crank forward again. This seems to compact the grass more, and then the juice starts to flow. Some reviewers complain about the effort this machine requires, but I enjoy the workout that the manual crank provides. Assembly, disassembly and clean up are all very easy.I am so happy with this purchase and really feel like I am finally getting all the juice out of my wheatgrass. Awesome!

From many sites there was a good review for this product , so I went ahead. I regret now. Product is rock solid SS but operation is too difficult . Its too hard to operate . V need lot of energy. U loose easy 15 to 20 min. Secondly grass gets stick to augur instead of moving forward . so it keeps on accumulating and rotating around the same point .I am having Lexan Gp27 and this is much easier . gap is smaller and whatever you feed , it moves forward and its much easier to operate . Now I am going back to Lexan.

I'm ten months in to using this juicer for wheatgrass daily, and it’s still holding strong, juicing well. I would buy an electric juicer if they weren’t so expensive. Truth is though, an electric juicer might go out in a year or two. This thing feels like it will last forever. And, I force massive amounts of grass through it at once, really having to crank down on it, and I’m a strong guy. I’ll probably break the edge of my countertop before this thing.I hear people complain about having to clean it every time. Wouldn’t you clean your food processor or blender after every use? Same thing. Some people just don’t want to put in the work for to live healthy.

You have to make sure you have a solid counter to attach it to. It won't attach to a regular counter top has to be like the picture. The more you put in the harder it is to crank. I'm not that strong but was able to do it if I put less in and put it through a few times. The juice you get is so healthy and if you chase it with an orange it's not bad at all. It's hard for the non green thumb person to get the growing of the wheatgrass down but it's do-able with a little knowledge like not to much water or it gets moldy and I tried soil vs. non soil (just a cloth watered) grass was yellower/not enough nutrients. Next Summer I'm going to try growing a small patch outside in my lawn just to see what that does. I saw some guys that just had it growing outside in a 2'x4' patch marked off in their lawn. That's all they had. That's easy enough for me. I've tried growing it in the house... It's ok but the cost of lights going 12 hours is just another added expense I don't want. I'm trying to go all natural on every level. This product is worth the money esp. for going off grid. It's very well made ~!~

Nice, sturdy juicer - it takes a lot of muscle to crank out the green juice - and just so you know, the juicer will need a counter top with at least a 3" lip otherwise, it will slip off - also, its a right hand crank for forward motion....so if your kitchen counter is situated a certain way, you can only attached your juicer a certain way and then you may have to crank with your not-usual hand - good luck!Other than that, it was easy to clean, easy to assemble/disassemble, and dried spot free. All in all, I'm happy with the product.

This product performed as promised. Set up is very simple as is cleaning, which was a selling point for us. Here are a few tips:- The clamp may not fit all counters. One video on Youtube mentioned that it won't fit counters more than 1.5" thick. While it was spacious enough to fit the edge of our counter, we realized that our counter is not flat on the underside. Instead, it has a groove so there was nothing for the clamp to grip on. We ended up clamping the juicer to the retractable cutting board. This does make for some shaky juicing but does not hinder the process.- As others have mentioned, remove the screen before juicing.- The first time I put wheatgrass in the juicer, it just stuck to the auger as it spun. So I spun in reverse to get the grass "unjammed". Be sure to reverse spin it until the grass clogs up at the base of auger. Then grind as usual. The problem goes away. This is how a lot of meat grinders work as well.- Be sure to use the plastic stomper to push the grass down into the auger, otherwise sometimes it'll just sit there.- Somebody mentioned double-juicing. That is, taking the grass pulp (or as a family member calls it, "grass poop") and rejuicing it to try to get more juice out of it. I tried this a couple of times and did not feel that the extra few drips were worth the effort. This juicer does a good job of extracting most of the juice the first time.I've juiced about 3oz per day for the past week since getting this juicer. It's not difficult, even for a weakling like me. The more grass you put in at a time, the harder it will be to crank. But it's still not hard. I do hope to build a little bit of muscle in my cranking arm over time though.Clean up is a breeze. The plastic wrench that's included comes in handy to loosen the cap easily. Then it's just a quick rinse in the sink. There are only 4 parts to the juicer (body, auger, cap, and handle) so it's very basic.$100+ is a bit pricey for this, but in comparison to all the other overpriced juicers on the market, it's a good deal for what you get.

Didn't like this at all, but I'm past my return window, so it's just sitting in the box. It does NOT secure to counter edges securely, not matter where I try to attach it. Wheat grass leaks onto counter top, causing rubber feet to slip when attempting to firmly grind the grass. It is solid and VERY heavy. The handle doesn't stay on and falls off sometimes when grinding. Because of all the stability issues, I cannot press enough juice out of my grass as it states it can. It's a huge disappointment. I would not recommend, nor would I buy again.

Yes, it does a good job of crushing the wheat grass and extracting the juice. But it's very hard to crank. My wife and kids really can't turn the crank. I'm a big guy and I find it hard to turn. The trank some times also slip off. Clearing is fairly simple. Overall it's OK. But for the price, I do regret not getting an electric machine.
