You do not get the ones pictured which I have used for over 15 years. the original ones lasted two months. the universal fit ones I got only last about two weeks and then they turn brown and start to disintegrate. They say Culligan but in my opinion they are after market items of inferior quality. I contacted Amazon and I was told they would check into it. They were on my subscribe and save list, but I don't believe I want to continue getting them. I am checking locally for this item.Update: I contacted Culligan today and spoke with a very nice man. He gave me valuable information regarding filter performance. I mentioned that the filters I received did not look like the one pictured that states made in USA. I forwarded photos of the ones I have and he said he would check Amazon reviews and forward the information to the appropriate party. The ones I got are made in China and said they were universal filters. They had the Culligan name on the package. I sincerely hope we get back the ones made in the USA.

The photos show "Made in USA" on label but the ones I got were made in China.I search and looked for filters extensively because I wanted US made ones. I feel cheated to have received Chinese junk when I paid more for these specifically because of the origin depicted in the product photos.

These are sediment filters only but they work for what they are meant to do. We use them for our RV and we use them with a whole house filter housing to keep sediment, sand and other material out of the water system. They don't make undrinkable water drinkable, they don't filter out bacteria but if you want the small particles that plug screens, can damage water pumps etc. removed these do the trick.

Glad I found these on Amazon subscription services. Since our well water is so rusty we need these every month and at half the cost of buying from the big box store it's a great deal. I wish they would last a little longer as ours clog up so fast and when they were whirlpool brand before cullingan took them over they seemed to last longer. Overall still good for heavy sediment removal. Please let me know if this review was helpful.

I use these cartridge filters in my Watts Whole House Filter system. They seem to be a good middle-of-the-road choice as far as microns. The 50 micron filters allow a bit too much sediment through and the 10 micron filter so much they have to be changed often. I use these at home and at my business for a campground bathhouse. The are good quality and inexpensive. Amazon carries them in the Subscribe and Save program which makes is really simple to keep an adequate supply all the time.
